- To spread legal literacy by various means and make the people more aware of their rights and status in the society to ultimately inject life into the democratic institutions and apparatus which can be truly independent and partial towards the needy and marginalized.
- To carry community based development activities to endear the people to ALERT to plan sustained and self-supportive systems to keep the awareness levels on the high always.
- To network, co-ordinate and form linkages with the government and other non-government organizations in spreading legal literacy to make the people aware of their real status in the society.
